I am a human full heartedly surrendering to the wisdom of the plants.
I have been mothering my 2 daughters, dark angels, for 19 years now.
Their history is loaded with the pain of losing their first mothers, with generational trauma of being black in America. Loving them and guiding them is the hardest and most important thing I have ever done.
My husband is my great friend and love.
My human parents are no longer alive.
The earth is my mother.
I am nature.
I love the sound of insects and birds, soft moss under my feet, mountain lakes, reading novels, yoga, cooking and hiking.
My practice every day, every minute that I can remember, is to keep loving it all fiercely, so fiercely that it is almost unbearable and to let go completely, trusting completely.
